So for Spring Break this year we took the kids to Zions National Park for a day. I thought we were going to go up there and hike some easy fun hikes. When we got there Jessica said that we should hike Angels Landing. I of course have never done this before. She then proceeded to tell us that it was not that bad of a hike and that we could do it. WHATEVER!! So we headed off. It is quite the climb. Ethan did so good, but of course I would not let go of his hand. We made it up to what they call Scouts landing and that is where Ethan and I stopped. There was 1/2 mile left to the top and Jim, Jessica, Lindsey, and Kayden headed off. I was terrified after waiting an hour and they were not back yet. I just could not believe that I had let them go the rest of the way. Obviously they made it back alive but every time I thought about it the rest of the day I just wanted to cringe. It was quite the day and I don't think I would ever do that again.
Before we took off. Angels Landing in the background!

At the top at Scouts Lookout. I was clinging to Ethan for dear life!

The rest of the crew at the real top!! What was I thinking letting them go up there!
